Horace Binney letters, 1828-1844.

Letters to J. Meredith, lawyer in Baltimore, and J. Cowperthwaite at the 2nd Appeals Court in Philadelphia, mostly on legal matters. The first letter, dated June 21, 1844, conveys Binney's hope that a publication Meredith is involved with will do some good, especially in Maryland and Virginia. The second letter, dated Jan. 2, 1834, asks Cowperthwaite for financial statements. The third letter, dated Oct. 4, 1828, asks Meredith for information on the progress of a case and urges him to do all he can for it.
